Prof. Zhang qiang has published 67 papers in the past five years (including 8 by SCI and 15 by EI);  Published monograph "Mechanism of High Stress Rock Induced Unloading and Multi-pick Cooperative Rock Breaking" (supported by Liaoning Provincial Science and Technology Association Publishing Fund). The first completer has 1 international PCT invention patent, 29 national invention patents, 16 national invention patents accepted, and presided over the compilation of 4 national energy technical standards, including "Mechanical Performance Test Method of Drum Shearer Part 1: Laboratory Test", "Three-machine Matching Performance Test Method of Fully Mechanized Mining Face", "Energy Saving Technology Method of Drum Shearer", "Energy Saving Technology Method of Cantilever Roadheader Part 1: Longitudinal Roadheader".
